Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of Jalex, a community for discovering, sharing, and supporting magic acts through short video content.
1. Acceptance of These Terms
By using Jalex, you agree to follow these Terms & Conditions and any rules or guidelines made available through the app. If you do not agree, you should not use Jalex.
2. What Jalex Provides
Jalex allows users to:
- browse and search magic-related video posts and creator profiles;
- follow creators and view acts from followed users;
- record or upload a video clip and publish it with text;
- like posts, write comments, and send support with Gems;
- manage a personal profile, settings, blacklist, and account controls;
- report or block users when needed.
3. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for your account activity and for the information you choose to add to your profile, including your username, avatar, bio, posts, comments, and interactions.
You agree not to impersonate another person, misrepresent your identity, or use Jalex in a way that harms other users or interferes with the service.
4. User Content
You retain ownership of the content you create and submit to Jalex, including videos, captions, comments, profile images, and profile text.
By posting content in Jalex, you grant permission for that content to be displayed, shared within the app experience, and made available to other users as required to operate the service.
You are responsible for ensuring that your content:
- does not infringe another person’s rights;
- is lawful and appropriate for a community app;
- does not contain harassment, abuse, fraud, or harmful material;
- does not violate the privacy or safety of others.
5. Community Conduct
You agree not to:
- post unlawful, infringing, deceptive, violent, or abusive content;
- use Jalex to spam, manipulate engagement, or disrupt the experience of others;
- attempt to access accounts, systems, or data without authorization;
- circumvent reporting, blocking, purchase, or account controls;
- use Jalex in a way that could damage the app, its users, or its reputation.
6. Gems, Purchases, and Support
Jalex includes Gems that may be obtained through in-app purchase and used for in-app support features. Gems are a digital item for use within Jalex only.
- Gems do not have cash value and are not redeemable for money.
- Support sent through Gems is treated as an in-app interaction and is final once completed.
- Pricing, package structure, and availability may change.
- Purchase processing is handled through the platform purchase flow made available on your device.
7. Moderation, Reporting, and Blocking
Jalex may provide tools that let users report or block other users. We may review reported content or activity and may limit, remove, or disable access to content or accounts when necessary to protect users, enforce these terms, or comply with legal obligations.
8. Availability and Changes
We may update, change, suspend, or remove features of Jalex at any time. We do not guarantee that every feature will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.
9. Account Suspension or Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to Jalex if we reasonably believe that a user has violated these Terms & Conditions, created safety or legal risk, or used the app in a harmful or abusive manner.
Users may also use available in-app account controls, including logout and account deletion options, where provided.
10. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
Jalex is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties regarding availability, reliability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jalex and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the app.
